Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at LACC is largely skewed towards women students, with 57.9% of undergraduate students being women and 42.1% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 12,747, with 7,385 women and 5,362 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is Hispanic, comprising 52.2% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 6,644 students.

Following behind are White students, constituting 21.2% of the student body, with 2,695 students. Asian students represent 10.6% of the population, with 1,354 students, while African American students account for 8.0%, with 1,017 students.
