Guilford Technical Community College

Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at GTCC is largely skewed towards women students, with 58.8% of undergraduate students being women and 41.2% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 9,960, with 5,852 women and 4,108 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 41.8% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 4,138 students.

Following closely behind are African American students, constituting 33.1% of the student body, with 3,280 students. Hispanic students represent 13.2% of the population, with 1,310 students, while Asian students account for 5.8%, with 570 students. Mixed race students account for 2.9% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 290 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 6 students.

International students make up 0.6% of the undergraduate population, totaling 60 students.

There is also a notable percentage of students with an unknown race, making up 2.5% of the population, totaling 246 students.
