Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at DMACC is largely skewed towards women students, with 57.0% of undergraduate students being women and 43.0% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 20,536, with 11,705 women and 8,831 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 64.6% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 13,234 students.

Following behind are Hispanic students, constituting 7.6% of the student body, with 1,565 students. African American students represent 5.2% of the population, with 1,072 students, while Asian students account for 3.9%, with 795 students.
